Alkek Library will purchase material at the Instructional level (2) for the library’s collection in support of the following degreed programs:
Human Development and Family Sciences
Consumer Affairs
Fashion Merchandising
Interior Design
Nutrition and Foods
The department allocation will also purchase material at both the Instructional level (2) and Research level (3) for the following degreed programs:
Master's of Family and Child Studies
Dietetic Internship
The department allocation will also purchase material at research level (3) for the library in support of the School of Family & Consumer Sciences faculty research.
Specific Selection Criteria

- Financial Institutions (Banks, Credit Unions)
- Insurance Companies
- Small Business Development Centers
- Texas Agricultural Extension Service
- Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (Formerly Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission)
