Where can you get help or more information?

If you’re a Texas State University employee, and the claim is related to what you do at TXST, contact your supervisor right away. Under Texas law, you have only ten days to request representation by the Office of the Texas Attorney General.

The Texas State University Copyright Office can answer questions about how the law works, but we cannot give you legal advice. You can contact us with questions at copyrightoffice@txstate.edu.

The U.S. Copyright Office provides additional information on their Copyright Claims Board Frequently Asked Questions page.
