Requesting an Article through Interlibrary Loan

If there is no HTML or PDF Full Text link beneath the article, click the Full Text Finder link.

In the pop window, if the message "No full text found search for journal in..." appears under Results, the library does not have access to the full text. 

You can submit an Interlibrary Loan request by clicking "Check for article access options (on demand/Interlibrary Loan)."

Retrieving the article from Interlibrary Loan

• When the article is received by Interlibrary Loan, you will receive an email notification that the article is available. 
• Articles are accessed electronically.
• To access the article log into ILLIAD with your NetID and password. 
• The library does not have a set time period for item turn around, but typically articles are received within one to three days.

TexShare allows students and faculty at Texas State to borrow materials from other libraries including libraries at other universities like UT Austin.

A TexShare card is free for all current Texas State students and employees and provides borrowing privileges at Participating Libraries.

Cards are valid for 1 long semester.
