Collection Development Guide: Nursing: Selection Criteria

This guide provides collection development information to School of Nursing faculty and faculty representatives.

Selection Criteria

The library will purchase material at the Instruction Level (2) for the library's collection in support of the following programs. 

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

The library will purchase material at the Research Level (3) for the library's collection in support of the following programs. 
Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner.
 

The departmental allocation may be used to purchase material at the Research Level (3) for the library in support of the department's faculty research and instruction needs.

 
Collection efforts will concentrate on, but are not limited to the following areas:
