Program Purpose and Description
The Department of Physics offers a bachelor of science and a bachelor of arts degree in physics, and a master of science degree in physics, as well as a master of science degree in materials physics. A multidisciplinary PhD in materials science is currently under development. Faculty in the department pursue a variety of research interests, with a general emphasis on materials science.
