INSTITUTIONAL VISION
The Texas State University College of Health Professions will be the first college of choice for students seeking careers as health professionals.

INSTITUTIONAL MISSION
The College of Health Professions educates and prepares health professionals with the academic preparation, requisite competencies, scientific curiosity, and sense of responsibility, leadership, and commitment to meet the present and future health needs of the state and nation. To accomplish this, the Texas State University's College of Health Professions unites faculty, students and the health care community in environments that nurture the academic, scholarly, and service aspects of health care.

INSTITUTIONAL GOALS
The goals of Texas State University and the College of Health Professions are:
1. Promote academic quality by building a distinguished faculty, developing the university culture of research and managing enrollment.
2. Expand access to public university education and contribute to the economic and cultural development of Texas, with special emphasis on development of the Round Rock Higher Education Center.
3. Provide a premier student-centered educational experience that fosters retention and success and is built on academic program with clearly defined learning outcomes and a rigorous level of academic challenge.
4. Expand educational opportunities, emphasizing doctoral program development, applied scientific and technical programs and other programs that address critical state needs.
5. Enrich our learning and working environment by attracting and supporting a more diverse faculty, staff and student body.
6. Develop and manage human, financial, physical and technological resources effectively, efficiently and ethically to support the university’s mission.

In support of the College of Health Profession's vision, the Radiation Therapy Program will be the program of first choice for students seeking a baccalaureate degree in radiation therapy.

PROGRAM MISSION
To accomplish our vision, the Radiation Therapy Program educates and prepares students with a university level academic foundation, and a high degree of clinical competence to meet the present needs of radiation therapy in Texas and the nation.
