INSTITUTIONAL MISSION The College of Health Professions educates and prepares health professionals with the academic preparation, requisite competencies, scientific curiosity, and sense of responsibility, leadership, and commitment to meet the present and future health needs of the state and nation. To accomplish this, the Texas State University's College of Health Professions unites faculty, students and the health care community in environments that nurture the academic, scholarly, and service aspects of health care.

Promote academic quality by building a distinguished faculty, developing the university culture of research and managing enrollment. 2. Expand access to public university education and contribute to the economic and cultural development of Texas, with special emphasis on development of the Round Rock Higher Education Center. 3. Provide a premier student-centered educational experience that fosters retention and success and is built on academic program with clearly defined learning outcomes and a rigorous level of academic challenge. 4. PROGRAM MISSION To accomplish our vision, the Radiation Therapy Program educates and prepares students with a university level academic foundation, and a high degree of clinical competence to meet the present needs of radiation therapy in Texas and the nation.
