Getting started with a research project is a multi-step process, and you may be early in your project when you're creating your Data Management Plans. The following campus offices may also be helpful for you at this stage in your process.
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) is a suite of services that support the university’s growing and evolving research and scholarly mission. Services include the following, under the umbrella of ORSP:
Pre Award Support Services
Pre Award Support Services is committed to supporting the University community in proposal development through value-added, high-quality service and professional partnerships with Principal Investigators (PIs) in order to facilitate world-changing research.
Research Integrity and Compliance (RIC)
The RIC goal is to foster an environment of compliance and provide effective support and training for Texas State researchers in the regulatory requirements for the conduct of scientific research. RIC also supports the research community in promoting the Responsible Conduct of Research.
