EDGAR - filings and forms from the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC).
NAICS - North American Industry Classification System, a classification system used by the government and businesses which classifies business establishments by type of business. See also SIC (Standard Industrial Classification).
SEC - Securities Exchange Commission, the primary federal agency responsible for enforcing federal securities laws and regulating the securities industry.>
data.census.gov - includes Census Bureau business statistics by county, zipcode, and metropolitan statistical area. Includes County Business Patterns, and Zip Code Business Patterns.
Consumer Price Index - Bureau of Labor Statistics provides this statistical index to measure "changes in the prices paid by urban consumers for a representative basket of goods and services."
Economic Indicators - prepared for the Joint Economic Committee by the Council of Economic Advisors, this monthly publication from FRASER (Federal Reserve Archival System for Economic Research) provides data back to 1948 and is produced as a partnership between the U.S. Government Publishing Office and and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis(also available in print in Government Information at Y4.EC7: EC7).
