Print disabilities Program

More than half of HathiTrust’s Digital Library is still in copyright, so most people can’t read those books online. But there’s an exception in copyright law for people with print disabilities. That exception lets HathiTrust provide in-copyright materials to students, faculty, and staff with verified print disabilities. Print disability includes blindness, but it can also include things like  Dyslexia or neuromuscular problems that make it difficult to turn pages.

Texas State students, faculty and staff who have a verified print disability may be eligible to receive special lawful access to the entire HathiTrust collection, To verify your eligibility and request HathiTrust access to in-copyright materials, please complete this form: HathiTrust Eligibility Verification and Request for Materials.
