An Author ID is automatically assigned to you if you publish in a journal that is indexed in the SCOPUS database.
You can check to see if you have an Author ID and that your publications have been attributed correctly to it: Navigate to the SCOPUS database via the library Research Databases page.
Choose the Author Search & Enter Your Last Name, affiliation and other details:

If there is only one entry for your name, click on the name to open your Author Details. Check that the details are correct.
You can link your Scopus publications to your ORCID record by following the instructions on the full details screen:
Important: If there is more than one entry/version for your name, go through the following steps to request Scopus to make the necessary changes.
