Grant Funding Research: Home

Overview

University Libraries at Texas State University has a variety of resources that are useful for grant research and grant writing initiatives. The guide includes both print and online resources.

Faculty may also consult with the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs for additional questions regarding funding opportunities. Key contacts at ORSP are the Director and Coordinator of Strategic Research Initiatives. They periodically present the workshop "Finding Funding with Pivot".

Any projects that may tie into gifts should consult with University Advancement. They have presented information related to gifts in their "Pursuing Funding from Foundations and Private Sources" workshop that is offered periodically. The workshop provides gift seekers with information on how to properly research foundations, obtain clearance to apply for gifts, involve college research coordinators, register for PropStart, request TRIP matches, monitor gifts, seek endowed gifts, and pursue other gift-related activities and procedures.
