Interlibrary Loan

Requesting an Article through Interlibrary Loan

When you are searching in a database or Start Your Research and you click on the Full Text Finder link and the library does not provide access to the article, you can request the item through Interlibrary Loan.

Retrieving the article

If the article was received by Interlibrary Loan, you will receive an email notification that the article is available. 

To access the article log into ILLIAD with your NetID and password. 

The library does not have a set time period for item turn around, but typically articles are received within one to three days.

TexShare

What is TexShare?

TexShare is a cooperative borrowing system among Texas academic and public libraries. A TexShare card allows you to check out materials from other participating libraries at no additional cost.

How to obtain a TexShare card.

Request online (cards can be mailed to an address you specify):
