Sewing Machine Equipment and Supplies
Currently, the Alkek One Maker Space located within the Alkek Library offers patrons sewing machines free to use once they complete training. There are also other sewing machine types available to use such as the Serger, and Embroidery Machine.

Once you have learned to use the sewing machine, each machine comes with a small sewing kits with supplies listed below:
- scissors
- push pins
- pin cushion
- rotary blade
- sewing chalk
- seam ripper

A small sewing kit for a beginner would consist of some of the items above.
Large sewing kit for more advanced seamstresses.
