The survey shows that 2 OWLS graduate students replied. Most student research is done online and they like to access content online based on my experience with this department during instruction. Not much usable feedback was gathered by way of the survey and I think this is a group that needs more direct contact, like following up a library session with the survey at the end of the semester, sent by the librarian.
I work with five departments:
Of those departments four have Undergraduate students (CLAS has no undergraduate students). All five departments have students enrolled as Post Baccalaureates and Master's. Only Curriculum & Instruction and CLAS have doctoral students.

How can the Ask a Librarian service be improved?
In the chat window, the estimated wait time for an answer would help me be more patient in waiting.
Please share any comments about your experience accessing materials on the Library’s website using a mobile device:
I have a windows phone and sometime have difficulty with the website. Not sure if that is the windows phone, browser or the bandwidth.

In Spring 2015, librarians began sending students a research consultation survey to provide us with feedback regarding their experience scheduling the appointment and their time spent with the librarian. After the meeting, I would send them an email summarizing our discussion along with search permalinks for searches to help them with their research and ended with a request to fill out the survey. I included a statement that the survey went directly to my supervisor, not to me. I received 11 responses (6 from Graduate students; 3 from Post Graduate/Doctoral 1 from Faculty; 1 did not choose provide their role) . The questions highlighted here are:
Were your information needs met? Yes Somewhat No
Would you recommend the Research Consultation Service to others? Yes Maybe No
Overall, how satisfied where you? Very Satisfied Somewhat Not Satisfied

Arlene was very patient in listening to my research process concerns and offered a wealth of valuable feedback to support my work.
Arlene provided valuable insights to support my research work. This was a follow up session to clarify RefWorks questions.
Arlene does a great job, whether it is one-on-one with students or in a workshop-type setting.
This lady was "ABSOLUTELY" fabulous. I wish I had known about her 4 years ago!
I feel as though Ms. Salazar went above and beyond my expectations for helping me utilize library reference material available to students. Kudos for a job well done, I will share my thoughts about this service with my instructor and fellow students as well. Thanks so much! I was overwhelmed initially with the research project but I have managed to piece together my writing project and am well on my way towards initial submission of prospectus. I thought that the video in TRACS was great but she made an awesome effort towards helping me pull material together for my paper and I look forward to utilizing library services again soon!
