A suite of workshops, tailored to the disciplines, to help Texas State University researchers increase their understanding about research data sources, tools, and techniques.

Summary

Data Scholar LogoThe “Data Scholar” program is targeted at faculty and students doing research that involves data who wish to increase their understanding about research methods, tools, and data sources. The workshop series involves workshops for:

  • Finding data in the disciplines
  • Using data: analysis and presentation 
  • Sharing and Archiving data with Dataverse

Faculty and students will find workshops that are relevant to their discipline and their research, so that the learning is contextualized. Subject librarians will have opportunities for short or long workshop formats, and this will ensure workshops are appropriate to need and expertise.
