San Marcos Sacred Springs Powwow | Organized by the nonprofit, Indigenous Cultures Institute. The Sacred Springs Powwow is a celebration of culture featuring art, music, dance, and food from across Native America. Crowds of over 6,000 attendees will enjoy traditional drumming and dancing, a market of over 50 arts and crafts vendors, and a Native Cultures Tent of storytellers, musicians, and educational programming. The powwow is set on the shores of Spring Lake, which is the longest continually inhabited location in North America and serves as a sacred site to the Coahuiltecan people.
