What is the Secured Collection?
A mix of books, textbooks, artist created materials, and oversize items that need a little extra security to keep them safe so they remain in the library collection for everyone to use.
Can I use Secured Collection items?
These materials are kept on the 2nd floor and can be retrievd at the Ask Alkek Desk. Secured materials have a shorter loan time (some for 2 hours, some for 4 weeks) for checkout and use. Click through the gallery on the left to preview some of the materials.
