Setting a Citation Style

  1. Go to Zotero app: Settings/Preferences
  2. Choose Export from the left
  3. Select your preferred citation style
    • If you do not see the style you need, it can be downloaded/added from zotero.org
  4. Select OK (on Macs it'll automatically save)

Syncing

  1. Go to settings > choose Sync
    • You can sync your account once you've created an account and signed in
    • Be sure to use the same account across devices
  2. Let's you backup your files across devices
  3. Gives you the ability to share folders with others

Add TXST Library Link Resolver

Using the library lookup feature in Zotero, you can see if the TXST library catalog has a copy of a resource. 

To add the URL resolver:

  1. Open Zotero settings > general > locate
  2. For resolver, select "custom"
  3. For base URL, paste this link: https://libkey.io/libraries/585/openurl​

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To locate an item in the TXST library:

  1. Select the item in Zotero that you want to find in the library
  2. Click the Lookup button on the right hand toolbar (a grey circle with an arrow inside it)
  3. Click "Library Lookup"
