This guide provides an overview of various library resources and services. The resources include media, books, and databases. Databases will be searched to locate the journal literature you need for your assignment. The literature may be Qualitative (open-ended surveys and questionnaires, observation, interview, focus groups) or Quantitative (closed-ended/fixed surveys, questionnaires).
You'll find information about how to find books, search for articles, and about the many services Alkek has to offer you. Alkek Librarians are available to help you via Ask Us!. The Library's APA writing style guide has useful resources listed for writing help as well as SLAC's Documentation page.

Reference Material in the form of subject dictionaries, encyclopedias, and handbooks typically provide background essays, definitions, broad overviews of various topics, or other pertinent facts. Sage eReference is a good place to start.
