    Information about the RRC Library:

    Hours

    • Regular hours are 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, closed Saturday and Sunday.
    • Regular and altered hours can be found online on our Hours Page.

     Reference Assistance

    • Ask in the main office found in room 255B of the Avery Building.
    • One-on-one reference assistance is available.
    • We can assist you in finding articles in magazines, journals, and newspapers as well as books, DVDs, streaming media, art, and much much more. 
    • Regular and altered hours can be found online on our Hours Page. Regular hours are 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, closed Saturday and Sunday.

     Circulation Services

    • Ask in the main office found in room 255B of the Avery Building.
    • Regular hours are 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, closed Saturday and Sunday.
    • Regular and altered hours can be found online on our Hours Page.
    • We can assist you in checking out/in and renewing materials housed at the RRC Library as well as those in Alkek Library.

     Quiet Study Room

    • Room 255C is devoted to quite study.
    • This room is typically available anytime the library is open.

     Printing/Scanning Services

    • Printing is available from library computers.
    • RRC Library follows the printing procedures as found in other parts of the Avery Building. Make sure to ask for details.
    • Our main copier unit also functions as a fast scanner. Scanning is free to all Texas State patrons.

     General Collection

    • This contains academic materials housed at the RRC Library.
    • Materials in this collection represent some of the most used resources by students.
    • Although this collection mostly consists of books there are also DVDs, CDs and VHS tapes available.

     Leisure Reading Collection 

    • This contains titles intended for pleasure reading.
    • Materials can check out to Texas State University patrons.

     Learning Lab

    • Room 255D is available for library instruction with academic courses.
    • These sessions are typically set up by the course instructor and one of the the RRC Library librarians.
    • When not in use for library instruction sessions the computers in the room are available to Texas State University patrons.
