What is Dungeons and Dragons?
Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) is a TTRPG system that provides guidelines for combat, roleplaying, and gameplay mechanics typically in a high-fantasy setting. 5th edition (5e) released in 2012 and is still very popular in the D&D community. The 5th edition rules were updated in 2024, and the updated ruleset is commonly referred to by fans as 5.5e.
