Definition

Research data is the recorded factual material commonly accepted in the scientific community as necessary to validate research findings. Research Data Management is the organization, management, publication, and preservation of the products of research.

Importance of Research Data Management

Funders and journal publishers are increasingly making research data management a priority and a requirement. As a researcher, there are many reasons that ensuring you have a plan for proper management of your research is important including:
