Welcome to Alkek Library. We have books, magazines, journals, and media (streaming and on DVD) about dance for your research.
This guide is intended to introduce you to the library's resources and how to find the information you need. If you need any help with your dance research, please don't hesitate to contact me.
You can use the Ask Us! service for questions about library resources, research assignments or other information. We offer Chat, Text, or you can also email a question to us. Turn around for email is quick, usually w/in a few hours or by the next day if sent in after 9pm.
You can also make an online or face to face appointment with a reference librarian. Here's more information about individual research consultations.
It is a library service that allows faculty, staff, and students to borrow items from other libraries that the Alkek Library does not own. Set up your account and use ILLIAD, the online interlibrary loan request system to request items.

Alkek Library now delivers electronic copies of articles from our print journal collection right to your desktop. This service, called Faculty Article Delivery Service or FADS, is available to faculty at either the San Marcos or Round Rock locations. Graduate Article Delivery Service or GrADS, is available to graduate students at either the San Marcos or Round Rock locations.
