Graduate College Theses and Dissertations

All Texas State University Graduate School theses and dissertations are submitted electronically to the University Libraries through the Vireo deposit platform. The University Libraries upload approved theses and dissertations from Vireo to the Institutional Repository.

Graduate students will work with their advisor(s) on completion of the documents for approval and to submit their theses and dissertations online.

When students submit their thesis or dissertation through the Vireo submission system, there are a selection of embargo options. More information is available on the Theses and Dissertations Policy page.

Graduate College Embargo Extension Requests

Embargo periods for Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETDs) deposited to the Research & Scholarship Institutional Repository may be extended upon request by the student author and must be submitted before the embargo period expires. Upon expiration, the final work is automatically made available.

An embargo extension may be for up to two years, with no more than two total extensions.

Honors College Capstones

All Texas State University Honors College Capstones are submitted electronically to the University Libraries through the Vireo deposit platform. The University Libraries upload approved theses and dissertations from Vireo to the Institutional Repository.
