Boost Your Research Impact

An important aspect of research is sharing the results with your peers and the general public, and reflects the University Mission, Values, and Goals.

The University Libraries is committed to the value of open and supports open access, open data, open educational resources, and open source software to enable a more equitable, collaborative, and sustainable global system of knowledge exchange. Openness reduces barriers to access, innovation, and sharing.

The Research and Scholarship Institutional Repository offers the opportunity for researchers to disseminate their work to the widest possible audiences, increasing impact and highlighting the valuable work of our university community. All Texas State University faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to boost the reach and impact of their work by depositing it in the TXST Research and Scholarship Repository. • helps universities and researchers fulfill obligations to make publicly funded or non-profit-funded research available open access
  • encourages access and sharing among disciplines and institutions
  • showcases an institution's faculty and student output, and through participation in the TDL consortium, the scholarly contributions of the entire state
