Web of Science Permalinks

Web of Science only provides article citations, but not the articles' full text. This means there are no permalinks available unless a record has a DOI.
Web of Science citation indexes (Social Sciences, Arts & Humanities, Book, Data, and Conference Proceedings, and Emerging Sources), Biosis Citation Index, BIOSIS Previews, Current Contents Connect (tables of contents), Derwent Innovations Index, SciELO, MEDLINE, and Zoological Record. Also provides links (at top edge) to Journal Citation Reports and Essential Science Indicators.

For articles that have a DOI, you can create a permalink.

Web of Science record doi url needs to be converted to this first:
https://doi.org/10.1111/j.1469-5812.2008.00457.x
Next, we need to add the library proxy to complete the permalink:

https://libproxy.txstate.edu/login?url=https://doi.org/10.1108/IJSHE-11-2011-0073

Creating permalinks for Web of Science may seem confusing because of the additional steps. It may be easier to just provide a citation for a user or try searching the article's title in Start Your Research for a record with a permalink. See EBSCO tab info.
