Symbolic Book Move - or "Book-it Brigade"
The "Book-it Brigade" was an event that encouraged faculty, staff, students, and alumni to help move the library from JCK to the new library (not yet named Alkek). The documents in the first box include fliers, the names of special guests and dignitaries, and the names of the books chosen to be the first moved to the new library. The event took place on May 1, 1990.
Photographs of the event were taken by Don Anders (with the help of at least one additional photographer). Images are presented by roll of film as numbered by Anders.
